2009 UK Testing Events Published in “The Tester”

Posted by Matt Archer on February 16, 2009

After a couple of weeks of hard work, I’m please to say that the Spring 2009 edition of The Tester is now public and available on the British Computer Society (BCS) website, here.

A big thank you to all of the contributors, especially the 5 authors (Rhiannon Thomas, Michael Bolton, Adrian, O’Leary, Pradeep Govindasamy and Chris Whelan) who provided superb articles for this edition.

In addition to the articles, something that is well worth a look is the new testing events calendar. I can remember starting out in testing and not knowing were I could go to socialise with other testers – other than on-line. That was many years ago, but the same problem still exists. Where do testers go to get an overview of the year’s testing events? Yesterday I would have to say I don’t know. Today I am pleased to say that this information can be found in The Tester!
